The Redesdale Arms is building upon a growing reputation as an eating destination. Mark works hard to source the very best in local produce to bring diners a true representation of the region on a plate.

Mark is a trained chef and has previously run the Red Lion in Steeple Bumpstead, Essex. Prior to that he ran the Blue Bell (Dick Turpin’s) in Hempstead, Essex. Mark provides a no fuss menu, using local and seasonal ingredients and has quickly gained a reputation for his excellent home cooked food.

We offer a wide selection of wines, spirits and beers in the lounge and bar areas from far and wide. We also stock a range of beers and ales from regional producers – as well as a whisky inspired by the once thriving illicit stills that were dotted throughout the hills around us in times gone by!
